Shulbrede Tunes – C. Hubert Parry

Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry wrote a number of piano miniatures of which the most effective and evocative set was the Shulbrede Tunes. The ten miniatures capture the atmosphere of Shulbrede Priory by mixing family portraits with aspects of the house itself. They can be used singly or combined to make a longer work in any piano concert.
